When you say 'no', how does it make you feel? For many of us, saying no to opportunities, to work, can fill us with fear from all sorts of angles, and can make what should be a 'no', a resounding 'yes!'. But is that a good thing? I don't think it is.

Of course, the reason you want to say no has a huge bearing on this, but if you're saying yes because you feel you should, then this one is for you.

We all have 24 hours in a day, and it's important we use our time well. Not just for work, but for all the other bits that make life brilliant for us. Each time we say 'yes' to something, we're saying 'no' to something else, because part of our time for the day, week or month has been eaten. Which makes it all the more important that our ability to say no really is as good as it can be, so we leave space for the game-changing amazing stuff, politely decline the things that don't light us up, and push forward towards our goals.

Wow- that two letter word really does have a lot of power, doesn't it?!
